Where the data comes from, and what it cannot tell you yet

Where the data comes from
Everything here is extracted from Enshrouded’s own game files. Recipes, quantities, stats and the skill tree come from the dedicated server build, which Keen Games publish for free so that players can host their own worlds. Item names and descriptions come from the game client, which is where Enshrouded keeps its display text. Nothing is copied from other sites, and no numbers are estimated: if a value is on this site, it is because it was read out of the game’s own data tables.

How things are named
Names on this site are the game’s own. Enshrouded stores its display text in the client rather than the server, so each entity carries a reference that we resolve against the client’s string table — which is why a piece of armour is listed here as Guardian Chestplate rather than by its internal identifier Armor_T3_Warrior_Tank_Chest.
A small number of entries still have no name in the string table. Those fall back to a name reconstructed from the internal identifier, and where even that is not confident enough to be useful — props, cosmetics and character-creation parts — the page is deliberately kept out of search results rather than published with a machine-generated title.
Quantities, recipes, comfort values and the skill tree structure are exact regardless. Those come from the same tables the game itself uses.
What we still cannot show
Skill node names and world location names are not in the string table we read, so the skill tree is mapped by structure rather than by name and there is no map of the world here yet. We would rather show an accurate diagram with unnamed nodes than invent labels that look authoritative and are wrong.
How the material totals are calculated
Each recipe page shows the total raw materials for the whole chain, not just its direct ingredients. Totals account for batch recipes — where one craft yields several units, part-batches are rounded up and the leftovers are shown as spare. Demand is pooled across the entire chain before batch counts are decided, so an ingredient needed by two different branches is counted once. Where the game contains a crafting loop, the looping item is treated as gathered and the page says so. See any recipe page for a worked example.
